Getting Published
Extension Publishing and Printing provides authors the ability to publish peer reviewed research-based information. We publish in agriculture, human development, food science and human nutrition, natural resource sciences, 4-H activities and youth development, and other areas of interest to the citizens of Washington State and beyond. Our publications reflect the diversity of Washington State University’s authors and their expertise, as they respond to the needs of the people and industries of the Pacific Northwest.
Our “team” consists of you as author, the publications staff, and the client or audience you want to reach. You provide the research based information. We provide the expertise in editing, graphic design, printing, and distribution. Our editors provide assistance for readability, formatting text, polishing grammar, and tailoring writing style to the audience. Our graphic designers create the layout using high quality photos and illustrations you provide. We can provide your publication to the world online or on paper. We can provide electronic files to the county extension offices or WSU learning centers for print on demand capabilities.
Promotional fliers, our catalog, and our publication sales web site http://pubs.wsu.edu help us spread the word about CAHNRS and WSU Extension publications. Our 4-H CD provides electronic files to 4-H leaders and clubs across the state.
