READ ME Included in this package is an image [safe.jpg]. Use this image as a template in your PowerPoint presentation to ensure that television viewers can view your presentation. Go to: Format/background, select [safe.jpg] as your background. Go through your presentation and make sure that your text fits within the ‘SAFE TITLE’ area, and that your graphics fit within the ‘SAFE IMAGE’ area. Once you have gone through your entire presentation, change the background back to what you had before. Tips for making your presentation ‘TV safe’: Use a font size of no smaller than 36 points. It is OK to vary from this size if necessary to fit within a certain parameter, but a good rule of thumb to stick with. Use a san-serif font. (i.e. Helvetica, Arial, etc.) These fonts are easier to see on television. Choose a dark background color/image, and a light text color. (i.e. Dark blue background, bright yellow text)
